Welcome to The EGI
Digital Architectural Multimedia Website
Our digital architectural
multimedia products on CD-ROM represents over 2400 digital photographs
organized into a library and arranged as an effort to examine
historic and contemporary styles of Western architecture. Sales
of the CD's have represented a wide range of needs from individuals,
organizations, and institutions that have an expressed interest
in architecture, history, classical art, archeology, general
history, education, travel, and leisure. Many of our customers
consist of students of architecture, colleges and universities,
high school students, professional architects, and historians.
Others are just simply interested in the cultural aspects of
a particular country as well as planning for an international
vacation.
The digital photographic images on each CD-ROM disk are categorically identified in a
comprehensive directory by the region, major town, major city, a historically significant
architect, or province of the country where the architecture was photographed.
Subdirectories provide additional identification by the name or type of specific
architecture featured, renown architects, specific function, or historic content of a
specific location in the particular country where the architecture was photographed.
This CD will operate on virtually any computer system which
utilizes programs that imports the industry standard "TIFF"
file format or can convert the "TIFF" file to any
other desired format for desktop publishing applications. The
CD is compatible with virtually any DOS application, Microsoft
Windows 3.x, Microsoft Windows 95/98, Microsoft Windows 2000
or NT, XP or Apple Macintosh systems. We recommend the following
systems configuration for operating performance: 80386DX/66
MHz or higher processor; 8 MB of RAM (more memory improves performance);
up to 500 MB of available hard disk space (only if saving
graphic image files to hard drive); CD-ROM drive; VGA or
higher resolution monitor; and a 300 x 600 dpi color printer.
Visit the first in a series of many Architectural Tour digital
photographic CD libraries that will leave you both breathless
and enlightened -- Tour of France
and Tour of Spain and Morocco or
Tour of Chicago.
